It took many months, but I’ve completely translated the Eucharist service from the Book of Common Prayer 2019 of the Anglican Church in North America. Although there are some overlaps with the current Japanese version of the BCP, there were also numerous differences. The ACNA BCP incorporates much of the content of the Church of England 1662 BCP (for example, reciting the Ten Commandments at the start of the service, the choice of reading the Exhortation just before confession (“Judge therefore yourselves, brethren, that ye be not judged of the Lord”), and reading the “Comfortable Words” just afterwards).
As I moved ahead with the translation process, I was reminded again and again of how precious the Prayer Book is. I also noticed how impoverished in some areas many Prayer Book revisions in recent years have been, including in Japan. One glaring difference is the faded sense of repentance.
Now the new text just has to go to print. Bilingual, using the traditional language version of the English. I am so grateful to be able to offer this new Eucharist on Sunday, December 17th at 4:30pm! See this site for details.

Can we coordinate on this? I may want digital or print copies for both research and use.
The (excellent) ACNA 2019 BCP now enjoys a Japanese translation, thanks to Fr Seaver.
N.b. For Orthodox friends: ACNA has made the Filioque optional…
